The Ide Hill netball team went to a tournament at Edenbridge Primary School on 20th March, the team was made up of five Year 6′s and two year 5′s. We played four matches, the first match was against Weald School and we won 5:1. Our second match was against Edenbridge and we also won that match 7:1. Next we played against Crockham Hill School but lost to them 2:0. Our last match was against Hever, but we lost again, 5:2. Although we didn’t make it through to the next round this was the best result Ide Hill School has had at this tournament in recent years.

On Wednesday 6th March, Ide Hill School Netball Team triumphed again. We played against Four Elms and won 7 – 3. Amy Dedman scored three of the goals and all three were accurately shot. George Callaway and Jessica Whiddett scored one goal each, I’m sure the whole team is very grateful. The team captain, Heather Denbigh, scored two goals and was a brilliant passer. We think she was instrumental in our success. Also, Leo Gravener passed, dodged and threw very well. Even though he didn’t score, he really participated.
